The Heritage Prairie State OM-1 is a faithful recreation from our Heritage series, bringing back the celebrated design and construction methods of the original Larson Brothers instruments. This OM-sized guitar embodies the "Built under Tension" philosophy with an authentically "arched" top construction, designed to enhance structural integrity and tonal projection.

Staying true to history, this model features the original "laminated" bracing system, a key innovation patented by August Larson that contributed to the remarkable strength and resonant character of their guitars. The top is crafted from high-grade Alpine Moon spruce Mastergrade, chosen for its exceptional tonal properties. For the back and sides, it features Honduras Mahogany (Switenia Macrophylla), a classic tonewood known for its warm, balanced sound.

Additional historical appointments include a Mahogany neck, an Indian Rosewood (Dalbergia latifolia) fingerboard with Floral Larson Style inlays, and a Polished Vintage Bone nut and bridge inlay. The distinctive Larson historic peghead with Larson logo M.O.P. and Ebony (Diospyros ebenum) overlay, along with the Ebony bridge, complete this instrument, offering a truly authentic playing and sonic experience that harkens back to the golden age of Larson guitars.
