The New Era Masterbuilt Euphonon 000 represents a refined interpretation of the 000 format, combining Larson-inspired design principles with modern lutherie execution.

At its core is the Larson-style arched top construction, engineered to increase projection, structural efficiency, and dynamic headroom while maintaining the inherent balance and control associated with the 000 body size. This results in a clear, articulate voice with strong note separation and a controlled low end.

The soundboard is crafted from premium Alpine Moon spruce Mastergrade, selected for its stiffness, responsiveness, and tonal clarity. Paired with solid Moonspruce bracing, the top delivers enhanced articulation and a wide dynamic range without sacrificing balance.

Each instrument is built with a defined back and side configuration, shaping its tonal response rather than offering an open-ended selection.

Shared appointments include a Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, Polished Vintage Bone nut and bridge inlay, and a satin neck finish for a smooth, consistent playing feel. The Larson historic peghead with M.O.P. logo and Ebony overlay completes the instrument’s understated, heritage-driven aesthetic.

Who is Klaus Eilken?

Klaus is a precision-driven luthier whose work within the Larson Masterbuilt Series reflects a deep commitment to structural integrity and tonal clarity. His approach is grounded in the disciplined execution of historic Larson principles, particularly laminated bracing and “built under tension” construction.

Each instrument is individually voiced, with careful attention to stiffness, responsiveness, and balance across the full frequency range. He prioritises consistency under real playing conditions, producing guitars with fast attack, strong note separation, and controlled projection.

The result is a focused, reliable instrument where function leads and tone remains precise, balanced, and authoritative.
