The Larson Tribute Maurer Concert is a compact acoustic guitar built for immediacy, clarity and a close connection with the player.

As the smallest body shape in the Tribute Series, the Maurer Concert offers a focused and highly responsive voice. Its compact proportions give the guitar a quick attack, clear note definition and excellent control, making it particularly well suited to fingerstyle, blues, folk and lighter dynamic playing.

Built around a body shape inspired by original Larson instruments, the Maurer Concert delivers surprising projection for its size. The compact body and responsive soundboard create a direct, articulate voice with strong balance across the strings and a natural immediacy under the fingers.

Two tonewood options are available. The Sitka Spruce and Indian Rosewood version offers greater depth, sustain and harmonic complexity, with a broader low end and more pronounced overtones. The Sitka Spruce and Taiwanese Koa version combines warmth and clarity with a focused midrange, smooth projection and a balanced harmonic response.

Each Tribute Maurer Concert features a Kaya Mahogany neck, Ebony fingerboard and bridge, 44.5 mm nut width and a 635 mm scale length. A high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish gives the guitar a traditional appearance while allowing the character of the selected tonewoods to remain central to the instrument.

Classic Larson-inspired appointments complete a compact acoustic designed around responsiveness, balance and the distinctive character of the original Chicago instruments.

Each Tribute Series guitar includes a custom hard case.

Who is Klaus Eilken?

The Larson Tribute Series brings the character and design heritage of the original Larson Brothers instruments to a more accessible range of guitars.

Built around classic Larson-inspired body shapes and traditional appointments, each model is designed to retain the clarity, balance and responsive character associated with the historic Chicago instruments while providing the consistency and playability expected from a modern acoustic guitar.

Solid Sitka Spruce tops are paired with a choice of Honduras Mahogany, Indian Rosewood or Flamed Acacia back and sides, allowing each body shape to take on a distinct tonal character. Ebony fingerboards and bridges, nitrocellulose lacquer finishes and carefully selected construction details reinforce the traditional feel of the range.

The result is a collection that respects Larson's history without attempting to reproduce a museum piece. The Tribute Series takes the fundamental ideas behind these influential instruments and makes them available to players looking for distinctive acoustic guitars built for everyday use.
